Week 27/2026: Photos of the city in winter

Week of 29 June 2026

I don’t have a lot to write about this week. Just some photos of the city in winter.

This post is wholly researched and written by me, a human. I will always bring you my stories in my real human voice. I do not use generative artificial intelligence (AI) in my writing. If there are any em dashes in this piece, I put them there. I do not consent to have my work used for training AI.

The city in winter

The chickens are cold. (Not actually in the city, but they are in winter.)

The river is … green?

There is snow on the mountain.

I went to the Silent Book Club. This runs at Fullers Bookshop on the first Friday of every month and it was my second time at one of these evenings. I love it!

Summary of the week

Something good

Catching up with a friend for a movie and lunch.

This week I learned

The word I thought was ‘whisp’ is actually spelled ‘wisp’. (I noticed this AFTER I had submitted my Furious Fiction story with this word in the text.)

This week I noticed

Light on this wall.

A rounded concrete building with some cool light effects on the facade
I wish the cars weren’t there!
